Los Lobos’ ‘Native Sons’ Wins GRAMMY Award For Best Americana Album

Congratulations to Los Lobos, The Band From East L.A.! The Chime team is beaming after last night’s Grammys news: Los Lobos took home Best Americana Album for their album, ‘Native Sons’.
This win is beyond well deserved for the guys – their incredible tenacity, astounding talent, and deep authenticity are just a few of the long list of reasons why this band has been around for almost 50 years. We have had the honor of helping Los Lobos tell their stories and share their music for the past 16 of those 50, and seeing this record get the love it rightfully deserves is indescribable!

We are surrounded by a powerhouse community of folks who we are incredibly proud to work with on this album. Kevin Morris and Brian Heisler @ Red Light Management, Chris Sorem @ Nest, Al Q and Jeff Smith at Tornado Creative (album packaging), Joshua Knight, Piero F. Giunti (photography, plus co-directed/produced the Native Son music video as well as other video support), Mark G. Thornton (motion graphics on Jamaica Say You Will), the crew, large community of friends and fans, and, of course, Mando Tavares, who holds so much together every single day of every single year.
If you haven’t given “Native Sons” a listen, check it out and hear what makes this band so special. You can also watch some music videos that Jon produced, including the two videos he directed (the title track Native Son and the lyric video Jamaica Say You Will). https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLcT-Ztv3ozIdthLH7v_6mVLUtJut7FruD
