While the two legendary guitarists have shared stages before, they’d always performed separately — until now. 🎸

The SATCHVAI Band finally brought them together in one lineup, backed by the powerhouse rhythm section of @kennyaronoff, @marcomendozaofficial , and @petethornguitarist 🔥

From tour marketing and creative strategy to content rollout, graphics, and the official SATCHVAI website, we’ve been proud to help bring the #SurfingWithTheHydra campaign to life — generating 23.3M+ views and counting.

Held at The Plant Studios in Sausalito (a Chime client) and supported by ArtistDirect and Yahoo, the event brought the band directly to their audience, answering questions submitted by more than 29,000 fans.

At the time, the conversation centered on ownership, distribution, and what it meant for artists as music began spreading rapidly across peer-to-peer networks. While the technology has evolved, those same questions continue to shape today’s landscape.

For years, the streaming era has been missing something basic: credits. Songwriters, producers, engineers, and collaborators—the people behind the music—have largely been invisible across major platforms. That may be starting to change. A recent update from Spotify signals a more deliberate move toward showing who made the music, and how those people interconnect.

For artists, an official website still matters. It’s one of the few places where the music, the story, and the fan community can live together without relying on third-party platforms. Social media is great for discovery and reach, but the artist site is where the deeper connection with fans really happens.

Recently we worked with the bands and their management teams for @menatwork and @loslobos to launch refreshed websites.

The Los Lobos site had been around for many years and had accumulated a lot of history along the way. It was time for a rebuild — especially to bring the experience fully into the mobile era with responsive design that works naturally for fans on phones and tablets.

For Men At Work, the moment felt right for a dedicated home. As @ColinHay has been touring more regularly performing the band’s catalog, we moved Men At Work beyond a single page on colinhay.com and created a site that celebrates the band’s history while supporting what’s happening now.

We also worked with @TowerofPower to migrate their site from Squarespace to WordPress, giving their team more flexibility to manage content and keep fans engaged.

And while we were at it, we gave our own site a bit of polish as well. 🧼

Each of these builds involved custom design, coding, theme development, and responsive styling — all focused on helping the artists tell their stories and stay connected with their fans.
