We’ve Made It To Broadway!
Chime has made it to Broadway! Well, sort of..
One of Chimeâs latest projects is currently being presented at the newly-opened Museum Of Broadway: the âHirschfeld Yourselfâ web app is a fun and easy-to-use interactive experience that celebrates the work of iconic character artist, Al Hirschfeld.
Working hand-in-hand with the Al Hirschfeld Foundation’s Creative Director David Leopold and Archives Manager Katherine Eastman, this project has been a long time coming: its origin dates back over a decade to an idea Jon and David had after re-building the foundationâs web site in 2010. It is so exciting to see this all come together and receive such positive praise!
âIf youâre like me and always dreamed of seeing yourself in a Hirschfeld, you still can! My favorite interactive feature of the museum hands down is âHirschfeld Yourselfâ where you can choose from various Hirschfeld hair styles, eyes, noses, and mouths to create a self-portrait on an AD tablet.
