“Private Plane Blues” – An Improv Chickenfoot Jam from the Archives
When you’ve been working in the industry for as long as we have here at Chime, it can be easy to take a happy detour into what feels like an endless vortex of compelling (and unreleased) archival content. A small request to look for one thing can turn into an extended detour revisiting footage that we didn’t have room in a client’s social calendar to fit. That certainly applies for Chickenfoot, which we heavily documented from the moment they first got together and stepped into the studio. Sammy, Joe, Mikey and Chad loved their blues improv jams and when we unearthed this gem, they gave it a thumbs up to release as a little treat….
