Kurt Simmons

Kurt grew up surrounded by a wide range of music, thanks to his parents’ diverse tastes. This early exposure sparked a deep love for music, and by high school, he was determined to create his own. With the help of a friend, he picked up the guitar and learned to play and write songs, embarking on his musical journey.

While pursuing his passion for music, Kurt was also studying computer science in college. There, he learned the basics of web design, which led to an apprenticeship as a front-end developer. This opportunity allowed him to build websites from the ground up, equipping him with a valuable skill set. Additionally, he studied marketing strategies by observing the company’s strategy team during meetings, which he then applied to bring innovative ideas to his clients.

With his newfound skills, Kurt started freelancing, taking on web design clients that provided him the flexibility to continue working on his music while earning a living. Earlier this year, he joined Chime Interactive as a Project Manager and Social Media Coordinator. This role has been a dream come true, allowing him to combine his professional expertise with his passion for music and making his aspiration of being part of the music industry a reality!
