Strategy and content around announcing the new Sammy Hagar & The Circle album

Sammy & The Circle are back with a new single & album!

‘Crazy Times’, the title track from their second studio album, is a powerful commentary on to the times we are living in. Sammy and the band worked closely with 8-time Grammy award-winner producer Dave Cobb on the album, out Sept 30th!

We first teased the announcement through multiple selected crops of the provocative album cover, and then in coordination with the national press release, dropped the first teaser video and the first music video.

Having worked on over a dozen releases with Sammy, it’s always a blast to collaborate on creative digital ideas with him and the broader team, finding new ways to share the band’s music with the world!

The first announce was a collaboration with our label partners UMe and featured our teaser edit of an electric album trailer that combines b-roll footage in the studio (thank you to Leah Steiger for documenting) with clips of the new music video (directed by Travis Detweiler), showcasing the energy of the record.

Over the following months, we produced dozens of videos, social media posts, email blasts, and partnerships to provide a deeper look into the album including band interviews, cover animations, track-by-tracks, “making of” features, and a look at the fantastic packaging done by long-time collaborator Todd Gallopo at Meat + Potatoes.
